June 7th 2019 In a packed hotel in Winnipeg, the local Chapter held the first Asset Management Manitoba Seminar. The event was opened by our Key Note Speaker Mark Bryant, Chief Information Officer from PCL, who explained how PCL are improving safety and making financial savings in construction of major buildings by embracing the Internet-of-Things on their construction sites.
Successful Inaugural Event for Nova Scotia Chapter

PEMAC's newest chapter, the Nova Scotia Chapter hosted it's first official event on Tuesday, April 16. There were 24 maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals in attendance from across Nova Scotia, and even a few who had travelled from New Brunswick! Each representing various industries as well as the municipal sector.
We are excited to invite all of you; new, old and undecided members to our very first official Nova Scotia PEMAC Chapter event. Come out and meet the executive and provide input to the Strategy and Goals of your newly formed Chapter.
The Board of Directors of PEMAC is proud to welcome members of it's newest chapter, the PEMAC Quebec chapter. The level of interest of its members and the number of activities already organised demonstrates how important a network for sharing for all those who work in maintenance, reliability, and asset management in Quebec, and in French, is.
Recently maintenance, reliability and asset management professionals met in Montréal for networking and knowledge sharing, and to gather interest for a possible Montreal Chapter. This event was hosted by PEMAC and attended by professionals from varied backgrounds in asset management profession.

On the 29th of November, the GTA chapter professional development event was held at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. The goal of the event was to develop the knowledge of PEMAC associated professionals while giving them the opportunity to network among the local community.
