This document is intended to supplement and does not replace any requirements of association functioning that are covered by the Canadian Not for Profit Corporations Act, the association's Bylaws or Articles of Incorporation. In the absence of a specific policy or procedure and when it is not possible to seek the input of the Board of Directors, the PEMAC "Guiding Principles" and "Code of Ethics" will be followed.
