Policy and Procedure: Code of Conduct

Aligned with PEMAC Values, below are examples of how we conduct our work in the organization and beyond:

Integrity:

  • We strive to exercise our integrity at all levels by being inclusive, pro-active and honest in our activities and dealings
  • We will be on guard for potential conflicts of interest and manage the affairs of the association to minimize them

 

Credibility:

  • We are conscientious about limiting our statements to verifiable truth Learning:
  • We gain and share knowledge to continuously improve and extend the results of our efforts Collaboration:
  • We work across differences to find new ideas, innovation and to practice inclusivity
  • We work together in a spirit of enterprise and mutual support
  • We work in partnership with related organizations to get results we could not get on our own
  • Decisions taken by majority vote are respected and upheld by all regardless of how an individual voted

 

Leadership:

  • We are always ready to learn from and collaborate with others but we realize that to progress individually and collectively sometimes we must do things that nobody has done before and that perhaps only we can do.
