Made possible by a grant through the Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP), which is delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada, municipal sector practitioners from across Canada are invited to participate in a Course One of the PEMAC’s Asset Management Professional (AMP) education and certification program. This is a great opportunity for teams of cross functional practitioners to start their Asset Management learning journey and build skills that will meaningfully improve the Asset Management practices of their municipality.
Applications are now being accepted for municipal teams to participate in one the upcoming Course One's that will be delivered live online over 5 full days. These special offerings of Course One has been subsidized by the FCM grant and is available to qualifying practitioners.
Completion of this initial course provides a path for these participants to continue their learning journey on their own, through the remaining five courses of the AMP program. Course Two through Six of the AMP program are 10 weeks long each, and delivered asynchronously online to the general public through Northern Lakes College. Individuals who complete all six courses and meet the program assessment criteria at the close of the program will qualify for the PEMAC Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) designation.
