On October 21, PEMAC’s Calgary Chapter brought members and industry professionals together for an engaging session focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence in workplace safety and risk management.
The event featured a presentation on how Graham is using ChatSafety AI to support hazard identification, strengthen risk assessments and improve work planning. Attendees explored practical examples of how AI can help organizations identify potential risks earlier, support more informed decision-making and take a more proactive approach to workplace safety.
The presentation also highlighted the broader opportunities emerging as AI becomes more integrated into maintenance, reliability and asset management practices. Discussion throughout the evening gave participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives, ask questions and consider how similar technologies could be applied within their own organizations.
Beyond the technical discussion, the event provided a valuable opportunity for members of Calgary’s maintenance, reliability and asset management community to connect and continue conversations around innovation, safety and operational improvement.
PEMAC thanks Graham for sponsoring the event and for supporting ongoing learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing within the profession.
We also thank everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion, as well as the Calgary Chapter volunteers who continue to create opportunities for members to connect, learn and share experiences.
