The Edmonton Chapter of PEMAC extends a sincere thank you to Richard “Doc” Palmer for sharing his time, experience, and perspective with our members and guests. His thoughtful insights and practical commentary on maintenance planning, scheduling, and workforce effectiveness made for an engaging and memorable evening.
We would also like to thank everyone who attended. The strong turnout, especially on short notice, and the diversity of disciplines represented, from refining and power generation to material processing and digital solutions, are a clear reflection of what makes the PEMAC community world class in asset management.
Doc’s ability to connect foundational principles with real-world execution resonated across the room. A highlight of the evening was gifting a copy of his best-selling Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Handbook to one lucky attendee, a fitting takeaway from a session grounded in both insight and application.
This willingness to show up, share, and engage continues to elevate PEMAC and the broader community.
Thank you again to Doc and to all who joined us in making the evening a success. We look forward to continuing the conversation at our next Edmonton Chapter event this June at the International Airport facility.
