PEMAC Saskatoon Chapter Hosts “The Age of AI” Networking Event at The Thirsty Scholar

The PEMAC Saskatoon Chapter recently brought together asset management professionals for an engaging evening of learning and networking at The Thirsty Scholar with its event titled Saskatoon Chapter: The Age of AI, held last Thursday evening.

The event featured a two‑part presentation delivered by Hammad Sharif, P.Eng., a seasoned leader in Asset Management Strategy and Master Data, as well as a PEMAC MMP instructor. His presentation explored the growing impact of artificial intelligence on asset management and reliability, followed by an overview of PEMAC’s certification programs and professional development pathways.

Attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner catered by the venue and had ample opportunity to connect with fellow asset management, maintenance, and reliability professionals from across the Saskatoon area. The relaxed setting encouraged meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing, and the strengthening of local professional networks.

The evening was sponsored by Benchmark, whose support helped make the event a success. The Saskatoon Chapter extends its appreciation to the speaker, sponsor, and all attendees who contributed to a well‑attended and informative event that reinforced PEMAC’s mission to connect, learn, and contribute within Canada’s asset management community.
