Mississauga (November 18, 2025) – PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada presented Tony Vollmers with the Asset Management Leadership Award during its recent PEMAC Awards ceremony held in Calgary, Alberta as part of the MainTrain conference. The ceremony celebrated excellence in the maintenance, reliability and asset management profession.
The award recognizes individuals who have contributed to building a culture of proactive asset management within their organization and across Canada. In his role as the Director Engineering Standards and Asset Services for British Columbia Ferry Services, Tony exemplifies these characteristics. Working with the, VP of Engineering, Tony leads the adoption of ISO 55000 best practices across the asset management framework, overseeing a high-caliber team and the CMMS function. Under his leadership, BC Ferries' asset management strategy was transformed from a reactive model into a formal, proactive, and structured approach.
