PEMAC continues to support the maintenance, reliability, and asset management community by contributing to international collaboration and standards alignment.
PEMAC participated in the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) H1 2026 meetings, held in Hamilton, New Zealand, alongside Apopo Congress 2026.
Represented by PEMAC President Nigel D’Souza and Bill Mercer, PEMAC joined global partners to share progress and advance initiatives that directly support practitioners. Discussions focused on asset management frameworks, sustainability, reliability, terminology alignment, qualifications, research, surveys, and publications. Member organisations also shared updates on awareness efforts tied to Global Asset Management Day and the upcoming Global Maintenance Day in June.
During Apopo Congress, held under the theme Global Connections, Nigel D’Souza delivered a presentation as part of the international keynote session, bringing a Canadian perspective to global dialogue.
PEMAC was also represented in World Partners in Asset Management (WPiAM) meetings by Ryan Slade, contributing to discussions on global certification, competencies, and professional alignment.
These engagements reflect PEMAC’s ongoing role in international knowledge sharing and standards development—work that benefits members by strengthening professional consistency and recognition worldwide. They also build momentum as PEMAC prepares to welcome GFMAM to MainTrain 2026 in Montreal.
