TORONTO, ON (June 2, 2026) - PEMAC is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Daniel as President of its Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Chapter, supporting continued peer learning and collaboration for asset management, maintenance, and reliability practitioners across the region.
Beth brings experience across engineering, operations, project management, and asset management, with hands on involvement throughout the asset lifecycle in both public and private sectors. She currently works in municipal asset management, supporting strategic infrastructure planning, decision support, and reporting. A PEMAC member since 2020, Beth has contributed through the MainTrain Conference Planning Committee and has served on the GTA Chapter Executive Team since 2023.
The GTA Chapter—PEMAC’s first established chapter—connects practitioners from one of Canada’s most diverse and economically active regions. The Chapter supports professionals across public works, manufacturing, utilities, energy, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, and consulting, creating opportunities to share practical experience and strengthen asset management practice.
As Chapter President, Beth will focus on building a collaborative leadership team and strengthening engagement across sectors. The Chapter will continue to deliver practitioner focused events, industry tours, and knowledge sharing opportunities that enable peer to peer learning.
My focus is on supporting practical knowledge sharing and professional development, and creating opportunities for practitioners to connect and learn from one another,” said Beth Daniel.
Beth succeeds outgoing Chapter President Arun Gowtham, whose leadership helped strengthen the Chapter’s professional community and engagement. “We are grateful to Arun for his dedicated service and thank Beth for stepping into this role to serve the GTA practitioner community,” said Cindy Snedden, Executive Director of PEMAC.
