Susan Lubell, a longtime PEMAC member, instructor in our Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Certification program, and current President of the PEMAC Board of Directors, is also a renowned speaker and a recently published author.

Susan's newly published book that she co-authored with Ricky Smith, Root Cause Analysis Made Simple; Driving Bottom-Line Improvements by Preventing One Failure at a Time, walks readers through the story of a plant that has just stopped running. With true examples across industries, Susan delves deep into how organizations can prevent failures and keep the plant running by applying root cause analysis methodology.

When Susan is not providing operations excellence, asset management, reliability and maintenance consulting to organizations, you may find her teaching an MMP module for Northern Lakes College or Bow Valley College. In addition to instructing the MMP program, she is also very involved the development of the curriculum.

Susan is also an insightful speaker, who regularly contributes to conference across Canada and around the world. Susan recently presented on behalf of PEMAC at the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) in Bahrain where she delivered a talk on the subject of Root Cause Analysis You can see Susan speak next at the Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals and Resources Conference this June in Calgary.

The industry is noticing Susan as well, including a recent press release from Northern Lakes College and Q&A session with Reliability Web.

We congratulate Susan on her efforts to further the maintenance and asset management profession. Her insight and enthusiasm has propelled PEMAC towards reaching the many goals of it's strategic plan.
