Complimentary Webinar from AICDA: Capturing Institutional Knowledge Before It Walks Out the Door
*This event is a like-minded event and not presented by PEMAC*
AICDA and its AI systems partner Octovus, both PEMAC Allied members are hosting a complimentary educational webinar for municipal CAOs and senior executives, “Capturing Institutional Knowledge Before It Walks Out the Door”,
Three straight years of national MNP/Leger municipal surveys point to the same gap: only about 1 in 5 municipalities have an organization-wide succession plan that’s actively maintained, with the 2026 report explicitly framing retiring staff as a “knowledge transfer” risk.
Positioned as a cost-management issue, not an AI experiment, institutional knowledge leaving an organization has become the #1 strategic priority nationally (70%, and still rising), even as AI/GenAI’s standing as a stand-alone priority has cooled since its 2025 peak. Losing institutional knowledge is expensive no matter how its solved.
