Tour Keyano College’s Power & Process Engineering Lab and join the Fort McMurray Chapter of PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada for an engaging professional development session. The event features Jody Parker, Director Projects & Turnarounds at Suncor.

With a wealth of international experience, Jody brings deep expertise in deploying management systems, building high-performing teams, and driving asset availability. Current Role: Director Turnaround Planning & Logistics – Oil Sands Region Role Scope: Project & TA Teams: Estimating, Planning & Scheduling, Coordination, Controls. $2B+ spend per year. 4-5 TA’s in progress and 300+ projects annually Education: Instrumentation Engineer / Masters in Business / Instrument Mechanic / Electrician Years of Experience: 25+, 7 with Suncor. Prior was ConocoPhillips and BP Types of Experience: Global Experience including living in Canada, Texas, Colorado & Malaysia working for Operations Upstream (onshore / offshore / oilsands), Downstream Pipelines & Terminals, Major Projects (onshore / offshore), Central Operating Excellence Leadership, Digital Oilfield of the Future and Integrated Operations Leadership. Business development for alternative energy in Canada, USA, Bangladesh and Cotes de Ivory. Passions: Work - Leading large high performing organizations and driving continuous improvement. Personal – Outdoor recreation such as camping, boating and travelling with my Family of 5
