Francis Ogamba is a Maintenance Planner in Calgary, Alberta, and the winner of this year's Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Capstone Award Technical Focus. Join Francis as he walks through his award-winning project: Instrument and Utility Air Compressors Upgrade. Learn how Francis' proposal to upgrade the compressors is a profitable capital acquisition project for this organization and will increase cost savings, efficiency and plant uptime, while also contributing positively to the environment.  Francis Ogamba MMP, CMRP Francis currently works as a Maintenance Planner in the manufacturing industry. 2022 MMP Capstone Winners 

Join this live session as we celebrate the 2022 Capstone Award winners and learn more about their outstanding capstone projects and the programs they participated in. Blair Carmichael, Asset Management Specialist at Ontario Northland, is the winner of this year's Asset Management Professional (AMP) Capstone Award Focus. Blair will present details on their capstone project: Implementing Asset Management at Ontario Northland’s Motor Coach Division. Dana Nielsen, Acting Reliability Superintendent at Neptune Bulk Terminals in North Vancouver, will present her winning Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Business Process capstone project: Neptune Bulk Terminals: Mobile Work Order Completion Devices.

Blair Carmichael, Asset Management Specialist, Ontario Northland

Blair Carmichael (They/Them) grew up in North Bay, Ontario the Gateway to the North. Blair has their Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration from Nipissing University, and their Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Businesss, and is completing their education for PEMAC's CAMP. Currently working as an Asset Management Specialist at Ontario Northland Transportation Commission on the program team to implement a new Asset Management transformation. Blair identifies as non-binary and is a strong believer of making the world more inclusive. At home you'll find Blair in their animal zoo with five dogs and two cats, crocheting some project, and binging the latest reality tv competition or drama.

Dana Nielsen, Acting Reliability Superintendent, Neptune Bulk Terminals

Dana Nielsen is the Acting Reliability Superintendent at Neptune Bulk Terminals in North Vancouver, BC. This is a fairly new role at Neptune as the company transitions from a reactive-based maintenance to a predictive-based maintenance program, and as the Acting Reliability Superintendent, Dana oversees the implementation of new reliability initiatives including condition monitoring and defect elimination. She also is responsible to calculate and publish key department metrics each week and is currently focused on working with a project team to update all master data for equipment on site and revise the PM program to align with the new maintenance strategies. Dana has been with Neptune since 2009 when she started as a co-op student and she has had several different roles within the company since then including Maintenance Planner, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and now Acting Reliability Superintendent. She plans to continue her career at Neptune by working to implement the new reliability programs and also the culture change to ensure the new programs are accepted and adopted smoothly.
