MMP PLAR Eligibility Self-Assessment

The Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process helps you evaluate how your existing education, training, and work experience align with the MMP program requirements. This self-assessment will guide you in identifying the most appropriate PLAR option and determining whether you are likely to meet the requirements before submitting a formal application.

PLAR is available through the following options:

Apply for an exemption if you have completed a comparable course (similar content, level, and length) at an accredited institution. You will need to provide transcripts and a course outline.
Submit documentation showing how your experience meets each course learning outcome. A follow-up interview may be conducted to clarify or expand on your submission.
Demonstrate your knowledge by writing the course’s 3‑hour final exam, which may include multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions. A minimum score of 60% is required.
