GTA Chapter Executive Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open for positions on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Chapter Executive.
Are you passionate about the maintenance and asset management profession?
Do you have opinions to share about how to extend or improve the impact of PEMAC?
Are you interested in the development of your local Chapter to help others benefit, and to improve benefits for existing members?
Are you willing to work as part of a team to contribute to the achievement of the PEMAC vision and mission?
Do you have knowledge and experience in the maintenance, reliability and asset management subject domain to contribute to the development of the profession?
If so, PEMAC, the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada, would like to hear from you!
The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Chapter Nomination Committee is seeking applications from PEMAC members who are interested in standing for election to the PEMAC GTA Chapter Executive for two-year positions of Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Chapter leadership teams typically spend 8 hours per month contributing to the development of Chapter activities. These include monthly conference calls, typically over lunch as well as additional activities to fulfil action items.
PEMAC is a national not for profit association providing global leadership, education and certification in maintenance, reliability and asset management practices. PEMAC's mission is to improve its member's professionalism, safety, performance, and outside recognition and to act as a public voice for its members and the profession.
Local Chapters unite PEMAC members in a region and provide them with networking and professional development opportunities. The Chapter executive helps to shape and develop the opportunities for local professionals to connect, learn and contribute.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, August 17th.
