Abstract:

The global pandemic is frightening for everyone.  Front line employees must juggle multiple stressors from working with a skeleton staff and increased health risk, to new virtual communications and tools, the threat of job insecurity, and continuing social isolation. To help them cope, session participants will learn three easy strategies they can use right away for calming anxious employees:
Breathing techniques
Emotional regulation calming
Match and guide grounding
A virtues mirroring tool will show participants ways to help employees focus on a quality that inspires hope and increases a sense of personal control using qualities they already have at their disposal.
Participant stories, sharing and interaction will be encouraged throughout.
