Edmonton's Asset Management Transformation

Presenter: Bradley Leeman
Director, Lifecycle Management, City of Edmonton
Description:
For its size, Edmonton has a fairly integrated asset management program and organizational structure. So how did that happen? The Presenter will make a case for how integration, sound asset management, solid analytics, and a concerted anti-silo strategy can make your organization's asset management more efficient, effective, and valued by your governors and stakeholders.
About the Presenter:

Bradley has over 16 years of experience in municipal infrastructure development, ten of which have been here at the City of Edmonton. Most recently Bradley has lead the creation of the Lifecycle Management section, an amalgamation of asset management expertise, and responsible for the creation and management of the majority of the capital renewal program for the City. Bradley and his team have, over the years, developed in-house modelling tools to help understand the fiscal impacts of growth and optimize renewal investment over time for the City’s assets, as well as developed policy for Infrastructure Asset Management and an updated Infrastructure Strategy for the City. Bradley is a member and past Chair of the Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM), and is a proud graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario.
