The Maintenance Management Professi
onal (MMP) certification program\, developed b
y PEMAC\, is comprised of eight modules. The progr
am focuses on the tools\, techniques\, strategies
and skills necessary for effective management of a
business’s existing physical assets. It provides
training and accreditation to those aspiring to\,
or already in\, maintenance management or supervis
ory positions. Certified MMPs have the knowledge a
nd skills to drive improvements in uptime\, produc
tion capacity\, equipment reliability\, safety\, e
nvironmental compliance\, economic life of assets\
, return on investment and effective communication
between departments.
\n \n Registra
tion is now open for a special delivery of MMP Mod
ule 1: An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Mana
gement.
\n \n This first module in
the program will be delivered in person by Northe
rn Lake College in conjunction with PEMAC's MainTr
ain 2026 Conference in Montreal\, Quebec\, over tw
o full days.

h to maintenance management that is integrated wit
h the business. Drawing on the elements presented
in the “Maintenance Excellence Pyramid” of Uptime\
, participants in Module 1 will learn how strategy
\, people\, basic care\, materials management\, pe
rformance management\, work management\, support s
ystems\, and tools such as RCM (Reliability Center
ed Maintenance) and RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analy
sis) can work together to build a culture of excel
lence.
