Body of Knowledge Committee - Call for Volunteers Closed
PEMAC launched it's new website on December 27, 2016. A key component of the new website is the "Knowledge" section which contains the elements of the PEMAC Body of Knowledge.
In January the Board of Directors approved the formation of a Body of Knowledge committee and appointed Alan Johnson as the chair of that committee.
A key function of the committee is to act as custodian and administrator of the knowledge section of the PEMAC website and subject frameworks, associated documents, diagrams and visual aids, among other activities.
The call for volunteers to work as members of the 6 person committee is now closed. The application process is closed effective, March 22, 2017 and applications are currently being reviewed.
Requirements for committee members include:
- A willingness to participate in making the knowledge section of the website better.
- A desire to learn.
- Experience working in the Asset Management field and familiar with the ISO 55000 series standards or the subjects in the GFMAM Asset Management Landscape, and/or,
- Experience working in the Maintenance Management field and familiar with the subjects in the PEMAC Maintenance Management Framework.
There will be a commitment of time required, minimum is estimated to be 2-3 hours per month, the maximum is up to you. For more information email email@example.com. More information about the BoK committee will be available soon.
