Participant Testimonial:
"Going back to the time I was in a labour job I always tried to work smarter - to plan my work and try to coordinate what I was doing. I hated watching tradesmen running around and running into each other. The MMP program has given our department the framework to be able to discuss improvement ideas and issues with each other in common language so that we can work more efficiently together. It was especially valuable to have knowledgeable instructors and people from a variety of industries in class to learn how they are applying the concepts and to see that everyone is at a different point in the process. It's nice to know you are not the only one doing the backstroke in the big pool."

Find your nearest teaching institution and contact them directly to learn more about their offering plan and schedules.
Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition is a process that allows you to receive recognition for skills and knowledge that you have already acquired through on-the-job experience, formal education and training programs or through self instruction. Obtaining recognition for prior learning can reduce the amount of classroom time required to obtain the MMP certificate, eliminates repetitive learning and allows you to add to your professional qualifications while working.
Module 1, “Maintenance Management Skills and Techniques” and Module 8, “Capstone” are compulsory. You can get prior learning recognition for up to 3 of the Modules 2 through 7.
